Who we are
This page is operated by Craft Irish Whiskey (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal information you submit here. You can reach us at ciwc@craftirishwhiskey.com.
What we collect
When you request the brochure we collect:
- The details you type into the form — your name, email address and phone number.
- Campaign information carried in the link you arrived on, such as which advertisement or search term brought you here.
- Technical information your browser sends automatically, including IP address, browser type, and the pages you view on this site.
Why we use it
- To send you the brochure you asked for. This is necessary to perform the request you made.
- To contact you about cask ownership, where you have asked us to or where we have a legitimate interest in following up on an enquiry you initiated. You can opt out at any time.
- To check the details you gave us are reachable. We verify email addresses and phone numbers so that your brochure actually arrives and so we can identify fraudulent submissions.
- To measure our advertising, where you have consented to analytics and advertising cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make this page work:
- HubSpot — our CRM and the system that hosts the enquiry form, sends the brochure and manages consultation bookings. Data is stored in the EU.
- Data8 — a UK validation service that confirms whether the email address and phone number you entered are real and reachable. Your details are checked and not retained by them for marketing.
- Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads) and Microsoft Advertising — advertising measurement, only where you have consented.
- Vercel — hosting for this page.
Cookies
We set only strictly necessary cookies until you choose otherwise. Analytics and advertising cookies are blocked by default and are set only if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.
We use Google Consent Mode, which means our advertising and analytics tags receive your choice before they load, rather than being blocked after the fact.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and we review what we hold periodically. If you ask us to delete your data we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access a copy of your data, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email ciwc@craftirishwhiskey.com.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
